- What is Abu Dhabi's currency?

Free visa-on-arrival is available to passport holders of the following countries:

GCC citizens do not need a visa to enter the UAE.

Abu Dhabi's weather is pretty warm, so if you're visiting during the summer, you'll need to pack as much light, breathable clothing as possible as temperatures exceed 30 degrees Celsius. If you're visiting anytime between November and April, make sure to bring a light jacket as it gets a bit chilly in the evening.
- What do the power plugs look like?
The electrical supply is UAE is 220/240 volts, and square three-pin sockets are standard.

- Do people tip?
Tipping is commonly practised in the emirate, however it is not expected. Some places may add a service charge of 10% and a tourism fee of 6% to your bill.
