  • Definitions and Interpretation
    • "Business User" refers to a contracted sales partner, with whom we have an executed written agreement to sell experiences through the Website;

    • "Miral Destinations " means Miral Destinations – Sole Proprietorship LLC of PO Box 128717, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, also referred to throughout the Website as “us” “we” or “our”;

    • "Mobile App" means the Yas Island mobile application;

    • "Package" means the package made available for sale to consumer users on the Website;

    • "Package Terms and Conditions" means the package specific terms and conditions set out on the specific booking page on the Website;

    • "Website" means the domain www.yasisland.ae including its subdomains which is operated by Miral Destinations

    • "Site" means either the Website or Mobile App;

    • "you" means the user of the Website, and refers to consumer users only in our Booking Terms and Conditions (and does not include Business Users)


  • Intellectual Property


    This Website is owned by Miral Experiences LLC and the Mobile App is owned by Miral Asset Management LLC. Both are operated by Miral Destinations – Sole Proprietorship LLC.


    Content on the Site constitutes copyrighted property and other intellectual property rights under United Arab Emirates and foreign laws and international conventions which are owned by or licensed to: Miral Experiences LLC, Warner Bros. Consumer Products Inc, Ferrari S.p.A, Qaser Experiences LLC, Miral Asset Management LLC, Miral Destinations – Sole Proprietorship LLC, and other partners. All rights in the content are reserved and nothing herein shall be construed to grant you any right in relation to the content.

  • Social Media Rules


    • Our social media pages are intended for you, so that you can come and join the conversation, connect with other people and have fun sharing your thoughts and ideas. We want our online communities to be a place where everyone can feel comfortable, which means that there are rules of play. To ensure that visitors of our social media pages may enjoy a positive experience we ask that you do not send, post, upload, use or reuse any content or comments (including photos and videos) which may be:

      • a violation of the terms and policies of the social media site concerned;

      • threatening, harassing, abusive, violent, inciting of violence or otherwise inflammatory;

      • encouraging of conduct that would be considered a criminal offence;

      • discriminatory, racist, sexually explicit, vulgar or offensive to other cultures;

      • unlawful;

      • political or religious activism;

      • off topic or unrelated to the Package; or

      • otherwise inappropriate for our social media communities.

    • We do not necessarily endorse and are not responsible for the accuracy of any remarks, opinions, comments, suggestions and other information expressed or included in user comments and posts on our social media pages.

    • We are under no obligation to oversee, monitor or moderate any of our social media pages. You are solely responsible for the content of your comments and posts on our social media pages. The use of any of our social media pages by a minor is subject to the consent of their parent or guardian.

    • Should you find any content or comments posted on our social media pages which you believe is not in accordance with either these Site Terms and Conditions then please report it to us. The ways to contact us can be found at www.yasisland.ae/en/support/contactus.

    • We reserve the right to use, copy, distribute and/or disclose without compensation to you any content or comments that you post on our social media pages, including any ideas or information relating to our products.

    • You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights and permissions to use and exploit, and to authorise us to use and exploit, any content or comments that you post on our social media pages. You agree not to enforce any moral or ancillary rights in or to such content or comments against us or our authorised users.


  • MyPass, FacePass and Contactless Services


    • The Site may be integrated with MyPass which is a centralised authentication service that allows you single sign-in access to the Site and certain third party websites, mobile apps or WiFi services in Abu Dhabi.

    • You accept sole responsibility for: (i) the security and proper use of all usernames and passwords (“User IDs”) used in connection with the Site and MyPass (including maintaining and enforcing a robust password); (ii) all information uploaded to the Site and MyPass during registration or your use of the Site including any of its features or services. You should take all necessary steps to ensure that User IDs are kept confidential, secure, are used properly and are not disclosed to any unauthorised persons.

    • We accept no responsibility for any loss or damage arising from the use of your User ID on the Site or MyPass including any transactions made in connection with the information provided to us under your User ID.

    • You must contact us on +971 (0) 600 511 115 or at privacy-md@miral.ae if you suspect that your User ID may have become known to an unauthorised person or may be used in an unauthorised way.

    • We reserve the right to suspend User ID access to the Site at any time and without notice if we suspect there is or is likely to be a breach of security or misuse of the Site or its services, and/or to require you change any or all of the passwords used in connection with the Site.

    • The Site may permit you to enrol for FacePass services, including contactless access and contactless payment services. Contactless access involves the processing of your FacePass to identity you when entering the designated attractions; once your FacePass is enrolled you can enjoy easier and safer contactless entry to the attraction using your FacePass and without the need to scan your ticket. Contactless payment involves the processing of your FacePass to identify you when making payments at operating food and retail outlets (where available) inside the designated attractions; once your FacePass is enrolled you can link this to your payment information and enjoy making payments using your FacePass without the need to use the credit or debit card.

    • Enrolment for FacePass and contactless access services may be done through the Mobile App or Website (where available), by uploading a photo of your face. Alternatively, enrolment may be done offline with guest relations and thereafter allowing the camera at the turnstiles to capture your photo. Debit and credit card information can only be linked through the Mobile App or Website (where available) and you must be 18 years or older to enrol a debit or credit card for contactless payments.

    • For further information on how and why we process your personal data in connection with the Site and its features or services including MyPass and FacePass, please review our Privacy Policy.

    • When enrolling for certain services on the Site including MyPass or FacePass, you are required to confirm that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

    • We may also require your explicit consent, or the explicit consent of a parent or legal guardian if in relation to a child or person of determination, to process certain types of personal data in connection with the Site (for example, to process your biometric information in connection with providing your FacePass). We will communicate to you via the Site where such consent is required.

    • Where such consent is required, you are required to confirm and you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and are not a person of determination. For persons under the age of 18 or of determination, consent cannot be provided via the Site and we will require this to be provided by a parent or legal guardian at guest relations on the next visit to our designated attractions. ID will be required for all persons to verify age and consent.

    • If you do not agree to the processing of your personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy, or where consent is required and is not provided or is withdrawn, we will not be able to provide the relevant services to you. We accept no liability for the non-provision or withdrawal of services arising from a refusal to the processing of personal data, to provide the required consent and complete all enrolment requirements.

    • You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for the information provided to us when enrolling for MyPass, FacePass and contactless services (including debit or credit card and payment information) and for all transactions made in connection with MyPass, FacePass and contactless payment services. All contactless payments made using the debit or credit card linked to your MyPass and FacePass are non-refundable.

    • Any promotions or discounts offered in connection with the Site or its services are at our discretion and are subject to any specific promotion or discount terms and conditions. We may amend or withdraw such promotions or discounts or their terms and conditions at any time.

    • Once you have unenrolled your FacePass, you will not be able to enrol for FacePass and contactless services again.


  • General Terms of Use


    • By using the Site and agreeing to these Site Terms and Conditions, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

    • Your use of any information or materials on this Site is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products or information available through this Site meet your specific requirements.

    • Your use of this Site, these Site Terms and Conditions, all other policies and terms and conditions related to this Site and any dispute arising out of any of the forgoing are subject to the laws of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applicable in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

    • We may change the content of this Site and these Site Terms and Conditions (in whole or part) at any time and without prior notification at our sole discretion. You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any such changes, as they are legally binding on you.

    • Certain software may be required to access or use this Site or its services including to electronically open tickets purchased via this Site. We will not be liable to any user for any loss or damage caused by such software or arising from any inability to access this Site, its services or tickets which are related to such software.

    • We do not guarantee that the Site will be free from Viruses. You are responsible for protecting your own information technology used to connect to the Site.

    • We assume no responsibility for the content of third party websites or materials linked on this Site. Such links should not be interpreted as endorsement by us of those linked websites. We will not be liable for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

    • To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all express and implied warranties, representations and guarantees which may apply to this Site or any content on it or any products available through it, including with respect to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the products, information and materials found or offered on this Site for any particular purpose.

All indemnified claims shall be defended or settled by us or our Associated Entities. At the sole discretion us or our Associated Entities, you may be allowed reasonable participation in the defence of any such claims or settlement discussions.

    • Each paragraph of these Site Terms and Conditions operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.

    • If we do not enforce our rights against you, or if we delay in doing so, that will not mean that we have waived our rights against you and will not mean that you do not have to comply with these Site Terms and Conditions.

    • We may provide a translation of the English version of the Site and Site Terms and Conditions into other languages. Any translation of the Site and Site Terms and Conditions into other languages is for your convenience only and the English version governs the terms of your relationship with us. Furthermore, if there are any inconsistencies between the English version of the Site and Site Terms and Conditions and any translation, the English version of the Site and Site Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

Booking Terms and Conditions

 

  • Definitions and Interpretation


    • The definitions in the General Website Terms and Conditions apply in the Booking Terms and Conditions unless otherwise stated.


  • Pricing


    • Prices on the Website are subject to change and are not guaranteed. You will be charged the prevailing price at the time of booking your Package.

    • The booking page sets out the currency you will be charged in.


  • Transaction


    • You must accurately enter all the information requested in the booking page.

    • When you complete a booking for a Package, you are making us an offer to purchase one of our Packages. If we accept your offer, we will issue a booking confirmation and a legally binding contract will be formed between us which is non-revocable by either you or us except as set out in these Booking Terms and Conditions.

    • If you purchase a Package on behalf of other guests, you warrant and represent you have obtained their consent to purchase the Package and accept the Package Terms and Conditions and Booking Terms and Conditions on their behalf.

    • The Package Terms and Conditions and these Booking Terms and Conditions will be incorporated into any contract between you and us for the sale and purchase of a Package, as well as specific terms and conditions imposed by the hotels and participating attractions. No additional terms will apply unless we enter into a written agreement, signed by you and our authorised signatory.

    • Your Package is valid for the set dates set out in your booking. The dates may not be amended except as set out section 8 below.


  • Payment


    • You must pay for your Package in full at the time of making the booking, via credit or debit card.

    • If your payment is later declined, your booking will be cancelled without liability to us. You will need to contact your bank and then rebook a Package at the prevailing rates once the banking issue has been resolved.

    • All payments are non-refundable and may not be cancelled except as expressly stated in these Booking Terms and Conditions (see section 8).

    • The price you pay for your Package is inclusive of all taxes and VAT except municipality fees which are payable on a per night stay basis, directly to the hotel.

    • You may only purchase a Package with a valid credit or debit card issued in your name. You may be asked to show your credit or debit card to verify your identify when you redeem your Package.


  • Redeeming your Package


    • Once your package is confirmed and paid in full in accordance with section 3.2 above, we will send the relevant vouchers and tickets to the email address you entered when you registered on our Website.

    • To redeem your package, please print out all vouchers and tickets, and present to the respective suppliers, following the instructions set out on the vouchers or tickets.

    • You will be required to show official government issued photo identification and credit card upon check-in.

    • Please note that all special requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.


  • Your responsibilities


    • You are solely responsible for:

      • All food and beverages during your stay, unless otherwise stated in the Package Terms and Conditions;

      • Travel arrangements;

      • Compliance with all travel guidelines issued by government bodies or competent authorities;

      • Travel insurance;

      • If you are not already a citizen or resident of the United Arab Emirates, please note that you may need a visa to enter the United Arab Emirates, and it is your responsibility to obtain this.


  • Feedback


    • If you experience any issues during your stay, we recommend that you contact the hotel or attraction directly so your feedback can be implemented or resolved by them immediately. If you are not able to do so, you can contact us www.yasisland.ae/en/support/contactus during your stay, or within two weeks after the booking dates with your feedback.

    • If you wish to discuss your booking prior to the dates of your booking, please contact our customer service center. The ways to contact us can be found at www.yasisland.ae/en/support/contactus.


  • Cancellation and Amendments


    • Your booking is individual to you, and the guests named in the booking. Only these guests may redeem the booking. Government issued photo ID may be required as proof of identity.

    • You may not make changes to your booking. If you wish to alter your booking, you will need to cancel your booking (please refer to our cancellation policy) and make a new booking at the prevailing rates. You may not cancel or amend your booking without our consent.

    • The Package Terms and Conditions set out the cancellation and amendment policy for your booking. If the product terms and conditions do not mention a cancellation and amendment policy, you cannot cancel your booking and booking is non-refundable. If you do notify us that you wish to cancel your booking, we will not issue a refund.

    • In exceptional circumstances, we may need to make changes to your booking. If we do so, we will inform you as soon as possible, and try to adjust your booking to an equivalent option.

    • If we completely cancel your booking, we will issue you with a full refund. We are not responsible for the cost of associated expenses such as travel, insurance or visa costs.

    • In the event of circumstances such as pandemics, epidemics, air strikes, severe weather conditions, or political unrest please contact us and we will advise you on the terms that apply to cancellation and rebooking.

    • Circumstances beyond our customers’ control can sometimes affect bookings. You should purchase travel insurance to protect against this risk. In exceptional circumstances (such as the death of an immediate family member very close to the dates of your booking), which is not covered under your travel insurance policy, you may contact us to request that we exercise our discretion to make changes to your booking. We are under no obligation to accept your request and we do not guarantee that your request will be accepted. We will require official documentation evidencing your claims in either English or Arabic (such as a death certificate or medical certificate).


  • Minors


    You may be asked to submit official government issued photo ID proving the age of your fellow guests. Additional charges may apply if you have not complied with the relevant Package Terms and Conditions.


  • Privacy


    Please review our Privacy Policy for information on how and why we process your personal data when you use the Site.


  • Liability

    • To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all express and implied warranties, representations and guarantees which may apply to the Website or Mobile App or any content on it or any products available through it, including with respect to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the products, information and materials found or offered on this Website or Mobile App for any particular purpose.

    • Our liability to you is limited to the price you paid for the Package. Our liability for indirect, special or consequential loss is excluded.

    • We do not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.


  • General conditions

    • Right to Amend


      We may amend these terms and conditions at any time, by updating this page. We recommend you check for updates regularly.

    • Governing Law and Jurisdiction,


      The laws of United Arab Emirates as applicable in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi apply to your purchase of the Package. If you have a dispute with us you must first give us notice of your dispute and engage in discussions to find amiable resolution for no less than one month following our receipt of your notice. Where such amicable discussions fail, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Abu Dhabi.


  • Product Specific Terms and Conditions


    • Attractions and Experiences

      • Certain products may be subject to special conditions or eligibility criteria; please read through the product description before your purchase and check the Package Terms and Conditions carefully

      • Entry to an attraction and participation in an experience is subject to the entry terms and conditions available on the official website, and any ticket terms and conditions set out on your e-ticket or voucher.

      • Although we will endeavor to update you on closures and availability, please note that some features of an attraction may not be available during your visit. Some attractions and experiences are weather dependent or may need to be closed for maintenance, enhancement, due to an order of government or competent authority or for other business reasons.

    • Hotel accommodation

      • All guests must submit their passport and visa stamp upon check in at the hotel.

      • You will be required to give a security deposit when you check in.

      • We cannot guarantee your bed selection, but will endeavor to meet your requests.

      • Your stay at the hotel is subject to the hotel terms and conditions.

      • Room occupancy on sharing basis on one existing double bed (twin bed available upon request during your booking journey) unless otherwise specified on your booking confirmation)

      • Extra beds is available for extra charge and bookable via call center post booking booking unless this option is available during your booking journey..

      • Unless otherwise specified in the product terms and conditions, the price of your package does not include:


        • Travel arrangements;

        • Supplements for room benefits such as additional beds;

        • Use of facilities such as telephone, pay TV, food and beverages at the hotel;

        • Visa;

        • Travel insurance;  



Please take note that all hotel prices are based on the maximum occupancy permitted for the selected room type using existing bedding. Baby cot or extra bed fees, and any other charges of a strictly personal nature are NOT included in the package price, unless prebooked as part of your package during your booking journey and are payable directly to the hotel. Please also note that only maximum 1 extra bed can be placed upon request and some room types may not be able to accommodate extra beds or baby cots, please contact us for more details.
